I have a line written in my notebook: “Presence is a feeling, not a thought.”

This panel from Nightwing #16 reminded me of it. Such a small piece of the page, but I kept coming back to it. “Right now is the only place I live.”

It’s interesting how something someone else might read straight past can mean so much to you. We bring different things to the same page.

I spend a lot of time thinking about what comes next. Sometimes I need the reminder to actually be here.
